RGN | RN - Senior Nurse
Nurse McMurtry is also a Prescriber and will regularly triage and treat patients with a range of minor ailments

RGN - Registered Nurse

The Practice Nursing Team run a range of Nurse lead clinics in Chronic Disease Management such as:

Asthma
COPD
Diabetes
Cardiololgy
Hypertension

They will also administer vaccinations and carry out various health checks including cervical cytology, alcohol monitoring and smoking cessation.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Aleya is currently training for a career in nursing, but continues to provide support as an HCA when she can
