Nurse McMurtry is also a Prescriber and will regularly triage and treat patients with a range of minor ailments.

The Practice Nursing Team, run a range of Nurse lead clinics in Chronic Disease Management such as Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Cardiololgy and Hypertension. They will also administer vaccinations and carry out various health checks including cervical cytology, alcohol monitoring and smoking cessation.

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care. She also has responsibility for managing human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology.
The Practice Manager supports the GPs, the Practice Staff and other medical professionals in delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care and improve service quality.
Linda is also available to talk to patients with regard to any ideas they might have with regard to improving the quality of our services.

Rebecca Millar is our Practice Based Pharmacist and works with the GPs in managing patient's medication. Rebecca has over 15 years management experience in Community Pharmacy and has also experience of working as a Pharmacist in General Practice.
Rebecca works Tuesdays and Thursdays in Scotch Quarter and is available to deal with any medication queries you might have.
Staff employed by the Northern Health & Social Care Trust provide community nursing services to the practice’s patients, including treatment room services,district nursing services, health visiting and midwifery services.
