What is Healthy Living for people with type 2 diabetes?

Healthy Living is a free, online NHS programme that supports people to live well with type 2 diabetes. It includes information and advice about the following:

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Eating Well
  • Becoming more Active
  • How to look after your body and mind
  • Other NHS Services and Support
  • Living with diabetes, including driving, working and travelling.

If you are a newly diagnosed Diabetic please contact reception and arrange an appointment with Julie Weir our Health Care Assistant for annual diabetic review of bloods/feet pulses, you will then receive a call from the Nurse Practitioner Gillian Watson with your results. Gillian will be happy to go over any areas of education/advice.
